Javeria Khalid joined the Punjab SDGs Unit as Monitoring & Evaluation Analyst. She is a development professional with over seven years of experience in research, teaching, monitoring, and evaluation. She has working experience in both the public and the private sectors with a focus on women empowerment, ending violence against women (EVAW), and social protection.

Javeria holds an MBA, master's in economics (MSC Economics), and B.Sc. (Hons.) in Economics from the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS).

Shumaila Jamil joined the Punjab SDGs Support Unit as Communications & Outreach Lead in July 2020. She is a seasoned communication, outreach, and media specialist having over 13 years of experience in the development sector. She holds a master's degree in English Literature from the University of Punjab and a fellowship in Using Media for Development from the Netherlands.

During her professional voyage, she worked at different leading positions with diverse donors and implementing partners, including the Government of Punjab, USAID, UNDP, SDC, Nestle, Louis Berger, academia, civil society, media, and media houses. 

Shumaila has extensive experience in strategic communications, advocacy and community outreach, behavior change communications, marketing & advertising, branding & marking, media management, public relations, campaign development, and event and web content management. She successfully developed and implemented several digital, social, print, broadcast, and outdoor media campaigns with a nationwide outreach. Shumaila prides herself on extensively working for youth, women, rural farming communities, and other underprivileged segments of society, remaining instrumental to their social & financial inclusion and improved livelihoods.
