The Punjab SDGs Support Unit creates an enabling environment for Mainstreaming, Acceleration, and Policy Support (MAPS) for SDGs at the provincial and district level. In line with this objective, the unit pursues an inclusive approach to engage the public and non-public stakeholders through Provincial consultations, dialogues, and awareness sessions to ensure mainstreaming and integration of SDGs for inclusive and sustainable development in Punjab. These consultations and advocacy sessions help sensitize SDGs experts, policy practitioners, members of the Punjab SDGs Taskforce, representatives from the Government, private sector, civil society, academia, and youth on aligning policies, plans, and resources with the 2030 Agenda to achieve sustainable social, economic, and human development in Punjab.
