Sri Lankan Delegation's Visit

The Punjab SDGs Unit hosted a Sri Lankan delegation during their two-day visit to Lahore to meet with policymakers, representatives from provincial line departments, civil society, and academia and learn about the role of stakeholders in implementing the Agenda 2030 across Punjab and the progress that has been made. Both Pakistan and Sri Lanka are presenting their Second Voluntary National Review (VNR) on SDGs at the United Nations High-Level Political Forum (UN HPLF) in July 2022. This visit was part of Pakistan’s VNR Twinning Program with Sri Lanka, which aimed to establish South-South cooperation and partnership to exchange best practices about SDGs mainstreaming for inclusive and sustainable development in the region.
