Aligning financing flows with the 2030 Agenda
The Punjab SDGs Unit conducts extensive capacity-building training sessions for government officials in all 36 government line departments yearly, before the finalization of the provincial budget and Annual Development Plan. A series of hands-on workshops are held with a cluster of government departments to sensitize them about Sustainable Development Goals, targets & indicators, and more specifically, how they relate to their interventions. Further, the Punjab SDGs Unit holds demonstrations on the SMDP Portal—developed by the Government of Punjab to track and monitor departmental progress - on how to tag their respective interventions against SDGs targets and indicators.
